This song was written for a Silver wedding. It talks about the whole of life though. I often repeat ‘the joy of the Lord is my strength’, until It becomes a reality to me. Joy is such a beautiful commodity?!! And it’s free!
Whenever I sing this, it always brings me joy. my litle grandaughter loved singing this after my husband died, it cheered us both up.
